We are working with a well-established, high-growth UK business within the transportation and logistics sector, currently seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to take ownership of multiple entities within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with genuine exposure to senior leadership and strategic projects.
The Role
- Full ownership of monthly management accounts across multiple entities
- Intercompany reconciliations and consolidated reporting
- Supporting integration of newly acquired businesses
- Business partnering with operational stakeholders across the business
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
- Supporting credit control and cashflow processes
- Involvement in M&A activity, including due diligence
- Developing reporting packs, dashboards, and financial insights
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiencies
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members as the function grows
About You
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or finalist with strong experience)
- Strong experience producing management accounts in a multi-entity environment
- Confident managing month-end processes end-to-end
- Commercially aware with the ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders
- Comfortable working with senior leadership teams
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and keen to add value beyond core reporting
