We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our team, with the opportunity to progress into a Shift Supervisor role. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining production, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery efficiently
- Ensure all products meet required quality standards
- Carry out basic quality checks, including first-off and last-off inspections
- Support shift handovers and communicate production updates clearly
- Assist with organising workflow, break times, and meeting daily targets
- Follow and promote health & safety procedures on the shop floor
- Report issues, escalate concerns, and support continuous improvement
- Help train and support other operators as you progress
What we’re looking for:
- Previous machine operating experience (essential)
- Good attention to detail with a strong focus on quality
- Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player
- Confident communicator with a willingness to learn
- Previous supervisory role preferable
What we offer:
- Starting pay from £12.71 per hour

- Salary increasing to £28,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience)
