MET Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Operative for an established client based in the Kingswinford area.
The successful candidate can potentially be taken on permanently after a successful probation period.
Duties
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and correctly
- Prepare, process, and pack food products according to specifications
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
- Support line changeovers and cleaning activities
- Report equipment faults, product defects, or safety concerns to supervisors
- Work as part of a team to achieve production and operational goals
Skills and Requirements
- Good communication, need for basic English and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Experience operating production machinery
Working hours
- 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday
Pay Rate
- £13.33 per hour (paying 37.5 hours per week)
