Production Operatives
Location: Tamworth
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm
Shift: 4-day working week
Pay: 12.71
MET Recruitment are currently recruiting for Production Operatives working within a busy GRP manufacturing environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a Monday to Thursday working pattern, giving you every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off! This is a TEMP - PERM role where you will be taken on after 12 weeks with MET!
The Role
As a Production Operative, you will be working with GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) to manufacture products to a high standard.
Duties will include:
- Working with GRP and composite materials
- Laminating and applying fibreglass materials
- Preparing moulds and materials
- Trimming, finishing and checking products
- Using hand tools and production equipment
- Following manufacturing instructions and specifications
- Quality checking finished products
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
About You
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Happy working with GRP/fibreglass materials
- Able to follow instructions and production processes
- Quality focused with good attention to detail
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
- Previous experience in GRP, fibreglass, composites or manufacturing would be advantageous, but full training can be provided for the right person
