Our client in Cheltenham is looking to expand their team with some additional qualified Class 1 Tramper Drivers. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday so you get to keep your weekends! This position is ongoing and is not adhoc agency work.
Pay Rates for Class 1 Tramper Drivers:
- Day Tramping - £17 per hour (£19.22 including holiday pay)
- Nights out - £25 each night
Holiday is accrued additionally as annual leave. The work will consist of general haulage tramping, you will start your working week Monday morning and arrive back at the yard Friday evening. Most of the fleet are kitted out with a fridge and microwave to give you the best possible tramping experience.
Requirements:
- a valid HGV Class 1 Drivers licence
- a valid CPC card
- a valid Tacho card
- ideally 6 months Class 1 experience (not essential)
- an understanding of tacho and road laws
- able to pass a driving assessment prior to starting work
