Full-time | Permanent – On-site

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a growing and fast-paced business, taking ownership of the finance function and supporting operational and commercial decision-making. This is a hands-on role offering real variety, combining day-to-day financial control with strategic input across the business. You will also manage an Accounts Assistant, ensuring high standards across transactional finance.

The Role

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Daily and weekly cashflow management
  • Review of transactional finance, including purchase ledger and reconciliations
  • Management of credit control and customer accounts
  • Responsibility for VAT, CIS returns and payroll (including pensions)
  • Liaison with external stakeholders, including factoring providers and insurers
  • Monitoring project profitability and supporting business performance
  • Weekly payment runs and financial reporting

Team Management

  • Direct management of an Accounts Assistant
  • Review and oversight of bookkeeping and transactional processing
  • Supporting development and maintaining high standards

About You

  • Experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes
  • Confident managing cashflow, payroll, VAT and CIS
  • Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across departments
