Salary: £60,000-£70,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5.00pm

MET Professional is working with an established and growing manufacturing business in the West Midlands to recruit an experienced Financial Controller.
This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function, work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in the future development of the business.

The Role
As Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the finance function, providing accurate financial information, commercial insight and support to the senior management team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Managing month-end processes and ensuring accurate, timely financial information.
- Monitoring cash flow, budgets and financial performance.
- Overseeing stock and inventory accounting, standard costing and product costing.
- Analysing margins, identifying trends and providing commercial insight to support business decisions.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
- Leading and developing the finance team.
- Working closely with operational teams to understand business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
