If you're passionate about engaging young people around social issues and have experience building communities, partnerships and events, this is a unique opportunity to drive a national programme from the ground up. This role will create a UK-wide university series exploring the future of healthcare access for young people, supporting positive attitudes to LGBTQ+ and minority groups.

From building partnerships with key societies in universities and recruiting student ambassadors to identifying speakers and delivering high-impact events and generating viral content. The successful candidate will shape and scale a movement-style programme across UK universities. Longer-term this could expand internationally. This is a founding operator role that blends strategy with hands-on delivery and will suit someone who enjoys building initiatives, engaging audiences and turning conversations into meaningful reach and impact.

You will already be engaged with young people through universities, youth NGOs or advocacy groups and will know how to drive activism.

About You
  • Experience delivering events, campaigns and engagement programmes for Gen-Z within universities (student unions), youth NGOs or advocacy-led environments.
  • Confident building partnerships and communities with the ability to recruit and motivate student ambassadors.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • A confident communicator who can moderate discussions and engage diverse viewpoints in a professional way.
  • Digitally aware with an understanding of how live events can create engaging, shareable, social media content.
  • Passionate about improving access to healthcare and creating spaces for thoughtful discussion around complex topics.
  • A car and licence will be required for travel as part of this role.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Designing and launching a national campus speaker series across UK universities driving awareness and activism with a particular focus on pro-trans care.
  • Building partnerships with student societies, unions and campus organisations.
  • Recruiting and supporting student ambassadors to host events and grow engagement locally.
  • Planning and delivering high-impact live events including talks, panels and debates.
  • Coordinating speakers from across healthcare, technology, media and advocacy.
  • Capturing event content and working with editors to distribute engaging short-form video across social platforms.
Where You'll Be Based:

This role is fully remote within the UK including travel to universities across the country to support campus events and partnerships.

What's On Offer

Salary is in the range of £45,000 – £65,000 dependent on experience, possibly more. There will also be a more junior role to support this position if you don't quite feel you're at this level yet. You'll also benefit from fully flexible remote working across the UK with reimbursed travel and expenses when needed at various universities. Arguably bigger than the financial rewards is the opportunity to lead and build a national programme from launch stage, combining strategy, community building, events and digital content creation having meaningful impact and encouraging important healthcare conversations.
