The SSC Open Gym Monitor will facilitate open gyms.

2) Welcoming/friendly to open gym users
3) If hired for this position, you will need to get your CPR /First Aid/ AED Certification
Dress Code Requirements
-Athletic wear that is not altered in any way
-Shirt should fully cover torso
– If shirt gets dirty follow these rules
· No crop tops or anything that shows the navel
– If you are cold, a Messiah Crew neck or ¼ zip is permitted.
– Khaki shorts are allowed
– Jeans without rips/tears
– Solid color leggings or joggers are fine
– Khaki or similar style business casual pants
-Sneakers or closed toe shoes

Primary Duties
1) Report to work on-time and maintain consistent and reliable attendance
2) Refer all Open Gym participants to Open Gym policy and safety guidelines posted at the entrance to the facility.
3) Every 15 minutes “float” through the open gyms to assure all behaviors are inline with Messiah’s larger student handbook and the open gym specific rules
4) Check-out and assist in setting up Open Gym sporting equipment available in storage closets
5) Ensure all sporting equipment is returned to storage location and neatly organized without damage.
6) Report damages of sports equipment to supervisor
7) Inform supervisor when new or replacement sports equipment is needed for Open Gym use.
8) Report all incidents
