Position Summary: The Media Production and Live Stream Assistant supports the Office of Educational Technology Services with all aspects of video production and live streaming, including but not limited to, filming, editing and producing video productions and live streams.
Experience Required: Basic PC, Mac experience required. Basic knowledge of video production required.
Experience Preferred: Basic camera set up and operation skills preferred. Prior use of video editing software preferred.

- Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing.
- Understanding of video and audio editing software.
- Willingness to learn how to use new pieces of technical equipment.
- Possesses understanding of databases and computer skills.
Dress Code Requirements: All students are expected to have a neat and clean appearance. In addition, students should have a set of all-black clothes and a pair of khakis to be worn for specific recordings.
Primary Duties:
- Assist with the equipment and personnel during production of campus media requests.
- Provide technical assistance for campus live streams for evening and weekend events.
- Edit media during post-production for campus media requests.
- Update production logs for active projects.
- Maintain Media Productions equipment including, but not limited to, cameras, tripods, & computers.
- Create accessibility materials for campus media such as subtitles and closed captions.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
