We are looking for a dynamic Employability Programme Manager to spearhead the delivery of a transformative welfare-to-work programme in Blackpool. In this role, you’ll lead a dedicated team, ensure programme excellence, maintain financial accountability, and work closely with stakeholders to achieve measurable outcomes that change lives.
Duties:
- Strategic Leadership: Drive the operational and strategic delivery of employment support programmes to achieve targets and outcomes.
- Customer Journey Development: Design and oversee tailored customer journeys, from initial assessments to sustained employment strategies.
- Team Management: Inspire and guide your team, setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and ensuring professional growth.
- Partnership Collaboration: Work with key stakeholders, including the DWP, training providers, and local employers, to create meaningful opportunities for participants.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to GDPR, funding requirements, and contractual obligations while maintaining audit-ready documentation.

Required Skills:
- A Level 4 qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in managing employment support programmes.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, with a relevant qualification preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of employment policies and the challenges faced by individuals with health conditions or complex barriers to work.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, communicate, and negotiate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
