Role Description
Field Marketing Consultant (Freelance) – B2B SaaS
We’re looking for a freelance Field Marketing expert to support our client base of high-growth B2B SaaS companies. You’ll design and deliver standout in-person and virtual experiences that create impact with prospects and customers. From intimate executive dinners to large-scale conferences, you’ll own the full process – concept through to on-site execution. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on details, can manage multiple stakeholders with ease, and knows how to connect field marketing directly to pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute in-person and virtual field marketing experiences (executive dinners, VIP events, conferences, tradeshows, sponsored formats).
- Own the full event lifecycle from concept to on-site execution, ensuring alignment with sales and marketing goals and pipeline generation.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across global teams, including US-based and international partners.
- Manage logistics, budgets, vendor relationships, and measurable ROI for each activity.
Qualifications
Must-haves:
- Proven experience in B2B SaaS field marketing where events are a core channel (not generalist marketing).
- Strong track record delivering executive dinners, VIP experiences, conferences, tradeshows, and sponsored event formats.
- Excellent communicator with ability to drive alignment across sales, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Comfortable working with global companies, including US-based teams.
- Prior experience in fast-moving startups (pre-seed to Series C).
- Based in London, UK, and able to travel on-site to events as needed (including occasional travel within the UK/Europe or US).
Nice-to-haves:
- Built and owned an event marketing function, including budget management and strategy.
- Hands-on experience with demand generation tactics to maximise event ROI.
- Experience delivering global user conferences or roadshows.
- Freelance/consulting experience building and nurturing client relationships.
