About the Role

We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants to join welcoming and supportive schools across Blackpool from September 2026. These rewarding roles involve supporting pupils in the classroom, working alongside teachers to create a positive learning environment, and helping students achieve their full potential. Opportunities are available in both mainstream classrooms and specialist SEN settings, with positions including one-to-one, small group, and whole-class support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one, small group, or classroom support as required.
  • Assist pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs where appropriate.
  • Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other school staff.

About You

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have experience working with children or young people in a school, childcare, or similar setting.
  • Have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), or are keen to develop in this area.
  • Are patient, caring, and enthusiastic.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Are flexible, reliable, and committed to helping every child succeed.
  • Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential for candidates with suitable experience.
