Approved Electrician- Full Time Position
We are currently looking to recruit a fully qualified time served, experienced electrician. The successful candidates will have a passion for learning new skills and the ability to pay particular attention to detail; good communication skills, timekeeping and excellent teamwork skills are essential in a High Voltage Utilities environment. HV experience would be advantageous.
You will be required to install HV & LV electrical equipment & control wiring; therefore, at least two years of electrical site experience and a full driving licence are essential.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Review pre-job briefs and ask questions to understand.
- Reads and understands Work orders/Instructions/Method Statements/Risk Assessments.
- Carry out appropriate risk assessments before undertaking any work.
- Selects the right tools & equipment for the job and checks that it is in good working order before and after use.
- Communicate with stakeholders to inform them of progress and resolve site issues.
- Time served recognised Qualifications.
- Valid ECS/CSCS Card.
- Testing and inspection.
- Driving licence.
- IPAF and PASMA qualifications would be advantageous.
- Must be competent in working alone and with others.
- Customer care is a high priority as you will be dealing directly with clients.
- Must be able to complete jobs on time and to a high standard.
- Liaising with project leaders to ensure timely ordering of materials and optimum efficiency.
- Minimum of 2 years as a time-served electrician.
- Industrial/Commercial experience advantageous.
