MES Limited Electrical and Plumbing New Build Housing Contractor are seeking an experienced Estimator to join the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Estimator to work within a close-knit and supportive environment working collaboratively with the team to progress the business opportunities.
You will be responsible for preparing competitive tenders and helping drive the continued success of a business built on strong relationships, quality workmanship, and repeat client partnerships.
This role will be based in our offices in Cumbernauld, Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities * Prepare accurate, competitive and well-structured tender submissions. * Review tender enquiry documents, drawings and specifications in detail. * Undertake detailed take-offs and cost analysis. * Identify scope inclusions, exclusions and commercial risks prior to submission. * Ensure all pricing is accurate, complete and submitted within deadline. * Support commercial negotiations through to contract award. * Work closely with the management team to develop winning tender strategies. * Maintain pricing databases and records to support future bids. * Attend post-tender meetings and site visits where required. * Carry out project handovers to operational teams following successful contract awards ensuring all project information and drawings are documented.
