Mervyn Stewart is growing and this is your opportunity to be part of that growth. We have an excellent opportunity for a Warranty Controller to join our team within Mervyn Stewart. Full training will be provided, so this could be an opportunity for someone to move into the warranty arena; however, franchise experience will be an advantage.

Within this role, you will be helping lead from the front to ensure that our customers receive the best possible sales experience. Communication is key within our dealership, not only to ensure an exceptional customer experience but to build solid working relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.

About The Role

  • Ensuring all administrative functions within the warranty department are carried out.
  • Reviewing warranty reporting systems with the line manager to identify improvements where possible.
  • Administering warranty policy in the best interests of the retailer, manufacturer, and customer.
  • Keeping accurate records of warranty submissions, credits, rejections, and customer contributions towards goodwill claims.
  • Ensuring that all frontline staff complete records correctly when warranty is diagnosed on a vehicle, and providing training and coaching where required.
  • Maintaining knowledge of all warranty procedures and documentation.
  • Supporting other staff members on all warranty-related matters.
  • Ensuring you are fully compliant with manufacturers' policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility in being able to support the existing department staff as required through various functions and locations.

This will be a busy role requiring teamwork, excellent inter-departmental and good all-round communication skills, as well as behaving in a professional manner. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to put the customer first, have an enthusiastic approach to their work, be highly organised, and have good time management skills.
