An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Service Advisor to join the Mervyn Stewart Aftersales Team in our busy dealership in Boucher. We require very personable, enthusiastic and welcoming individuals who thrive on delivering great customer service to all our customers. In every aspect of our retailers, the aim is always to exceed customer expectation and so customer care is of paramount importance.

Within this role you will be helping lead from the front to ensure that our customers receive the best possible Aftersales experience. Communication is key within our dealership, not only to ensure an exceptional customer experience but to build solid working relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.

Main Duties:

  • The role will involve face to face and telephone contact with our customers, with the overall aim of providing the very best in customer service.
  • This is a very busy role requiring teamwork, excellent inter-departmental and good all-round communication skills, as well as behaving in a professional manner.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to put the customer first, have an enthusiastic approach to their work, be highly organised and have good time management skills.
  • Upselling EVHC, Service plans etc. is also incorporated into the role so a good knowledge of these will be required.
  • Managing the customer database and proactively engaging with customers.
  • Taking part in social media videos and main ownership of this.

About you:

  • Passion for our brand and the highest level of customer service.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a franchised car dealership required.
  • Experience with One-Link, being fleet aware and Motability Accredited desirable but not essential.
  • Full, valid UK driving licence.
  • IT literacy as essential.
  • Verbal and written communication skills of a high standard.
  • Ability and willingness to expand the department social media presence.
  • Pro-actively manage customer database.
  • Ability to multi-task with good time-management skills important.
