We are an established award-winning, family-run multi-site dealership representing MG and Suzuki and are seeking a driven and experienced Head of Aftersales to take full ownership of aftersales performance across our 4 sites. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for service and parts operations, focused on driving profitability, efficiency, and a consistently high standard of customer experience. The Head of Aftersales will play an important part in our used car operation through effective preparation, turnaround times, and ongoing customer retention.
Our business is based on a commitment to customer care and as an important part of the leadership team you will have responsibility for the delivery of an outstanding customer experience. Excellent communication skills are required to build solid working relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues. In every aspect of our retailers, the aim is always to exceed customer expectation and so customer care is of paramount importance. Within this role you will be helping lead from the front to ensure that our customers receive the best possible Aftersales experience.
Communication is key within our dealership, not only to ensure an exceptional customer experience but to build solid working relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead all aftersales operations across multiple sites (service & parts)
- Deliver labour sales, parts performance, and overall profitability
- Drive workshop efficiency, productivity, and utilisation
- Ensure strong stock control and parts performance
- Maintain brand standards and deliver against all manufacturer KPIs
- Deliver excellent customer experience
- Lead and develop Aftersales Managers
- Coach and develop the Aftersales team
- Work with the Aftersales team to implement continuous improvement plans
- Engage in marketing activity to promote the Aftersales side of the business
