Mervyn Stewart is continuing to grow and as a result we currently have opportunity for more experienced Vehicle Technicians at various locations within the group, Bangor, Belfast and Conlig. We are looking for a team player who works well under pressure and has a real passion for delivering the highest quality customer service whilst continuing to enhance their own career, learning and development.

Within this role you will be helping lead from the front to ensure that our customers receive the best possible Aftersales experience. Communication is key within our dealership, not only to ensure a 5-star customer experience but to build solid working relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.

About The Role

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Carry out diagnostic procedures to determine faults
  • Inspect vehicles according to current regulations
  • Maintain a working knowledge of manufacturer processes
  • Maintain legible and accurate records and paperwork

  • Hard work, loyalty and achievements are recognised by an excellent salary starting from £30000 OTE £33600 right the way up to £39000 OTE £42600 dependent on experience and ability (including our achievable bonus scheme)

Required Criteria

  • Have the ability to work up-to-date technology using the latest repair methods and processes
  • Have a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Will be required to participate in manufacturer training programmes
  • Possess good oral and written communication along with IT skills
  • Have experience in a similar role at franchised retailer level
  • Have a full and valid UK driving licence
