Merton Council is looking for a well-organised individual with good financial, management and communication skills to take on the challenging role of Network Finance Officer within the Network Coordination Team.

Responsibilities

  • The post holder will be responsible for maintaining records for all team transactions, payments and invoicing in relation to highway licensing and street works operations.
  • The role requires the ability to prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, performance related information and process reimbursements.
  • You will also be responsible for managing one member of staff and ideally have a background in finance.
  • The role is diverse and will require you to be flexible with an ability to work under pressure.
  • We are a customer facing team, you will have good experience liaising with customers and the ability to deal with customers in a kind and friendly manner within Merton's diverse community.
