Are you interested in data, analysis and using insight to help improve services for children and families? Merton Council is looking for a Data, Performance and Insight Apprentice to join our Children, Lifelong Learning and Families Department.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical and technical skills while gaining a nationally recognised Level 4 apprenticeship qualification. You'll work alongside experienced analysts, supporting the collection, analysis and reporting of performance data that helps shape services and improve outcomes for residents.
In this role, you'll:
- Support the production of reports, dashboards and management information
- Analyse data and identify trends to support service improvement
- Learn to use tools such as Excel and Power BI
- Help ensure data quality and support statutory reporting requirements
- Develop skills in performance management, business intelligence and data analysis
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine interest in data and analytics
- Has strong numerical and IT skills
- Is organised, accurate and pays attention to detail
- Can communicate information clearly to different audiences
- Is keen to learn and develop new skills
