Merton Adult Education are currently seeking skilled and experienced professionals to teach adult learners on accredited courses in Supporting Teaching and Learning Level 1 and Level 2 (Teaching Assistant). You’ll deliver varied and effective teaching and learning sessions and develop course objectives using effective course and lesson plans designed to monitor learners’ progress.
As our Lecturer, we’d like you to have successful teaching experience, a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) and substantial relevant professional experience. With sound knowledge of the subject to be taught and a successful record of delivering qualifications, you’ll be able to plan lessons using a range of techniques appropriate to learners from diverse educational backgrounds, including adult learners.
You’ll have a high level of computer literacy (MS Office, online tracking systems, registration process), be a strong communicator, able to communicate effectively at all levels and able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, using initiative.
Closing date for the return of completed applications is 26th June 2025. The benefits package is pro-rated for part-time staff.
