Speciality:
To provide specialist skills in grounds maintenance tasks including tree planting, hedge trimming, grass cutting, and maintenance in both cyclical work patterns and arising issues.
To deliver high-quality borough parks management, handling scheduled and emergency work.
To manage all grounds maintenance matters, including tree felling, hedge and grass maintenance, and shrub and border management.
To adhere to current generic risk assessments and conduct site-specific risk assessments before work. Carry out dynamic risk assessments during scheduled and emergency work.
To utilize technology such as smartphones/tablets for work requirements.
To ensure personal equipment safety, reporting any checks or maintenance needed.
To interact with the public on site, ensuring safe work areas are cordoned off and maintained for safety.
To advise and assess risks related to public safety issues raised by members of the public.
