This is an exceptionally exciting time to join Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Cwm Rhondda. We are seeking a forward-thinking, strategic and ambitious School Business Manager to play a key role in the continued development and success of our school.

With a Β£77.5 million investment in a new school campus, scheduled to open in 2029, the school is on the threshold of an exciting new chapter.

The School Business Manager will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, working closely with the Headteacher, Governors and strategic partners to help shape and deliver the school's vision for the future.

This is a unique opportunity for an individual with vision, energy and a strategic mindset to make a genuine and lasting impact on the future of the school. The role will encompass strategic leadership across a range of areas, including finance, resources, operations, estates, procurement and support services, ensuring that our resources are used effectively to support the highest standards of teaching, learning and opportunities for our pupils.

We are looking for someone who can not only manage effectively but also think strategically, lead change, challenge existing practices and identify new opportunities. As we prepare for the move to our new campus in 2029, the School Business Manager will have a genuine opportunity to help shape the school's systems, services and ways of working for the next generation.

If you are looking for a challenging, varied and rewarding role where you can make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.

If you are interested in the role, please feel free to contact the Headteacher, Craig Spanswick, for an informal discussion.
