Job Description

Are you currently a Newly Qualified Teacher looking to expand your experience whilst you complete your teaching qualification in the Blackwood area? Education Supply Pool is a PAYE employer recruiting NQTs to begin work in Caerphilly and surrounding areas on a supply basis immediately. Supply work is ideal for those wanting to experience different schools, retain flexibility around their work, and sharpen skills before embarking on a more permanent placement. Holding a valid UK driver’s license would increase opportunities for work.

The Successful Candidate

  • Have you recently obtained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE or a BA in Education?
  • Have a minimum 3-month experience of teaching within a UK Primary or Secondary School
  • Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and maintain discipline
  • Plan innovative and creative lessons with the correct Education and Training
  • Liaise with other staff members to deliver curriculum
  • Maintain necessary assessment of pupils
  • Be able to inspire and motivate pupils

As a Valued Member of ESP, You\’ll Receive

  • A minimum pay rate of at least M1 (Currently £172.98 per day, subject to approval under the new framework)
  • A £125 recommend-a-friend scheme
  • A variety of daily, short-term, and long-term positions to suit your needs
  • No requirement to complete time sheets
  • Pay via PAYE direct through Education Supply Pool (not via an umbrella company)
