Hours: 32.5 per week

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive school improvement, with a focus on additional learning needs and ensuring the very best provision for all pupils.
• Prioritise the wellbeing of all members of the school community.
• Act as a strategic thinker with a clear vision for continued success and a proven track record of delivering positive outcomes.
• Demonstrate strong teaching expertise with a track record in raising standards.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate to develop partnerships with children, staff, parents, governors, external agencies and the wider community.
• Uphold and model the school values, and be approachable, supportive and passionate about staff and pupil success.
• Provide experienced leadership with demonstrated whole-school impact.
• Support the development of Welsh language and culture as the school continues its bilingual approach to learning.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Evidence of essential qualifications as required.
• Experience in senior leadership within a primary school setting.
