  • Excellent working knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and understanding of “A Curriculum for Wales – A curriculum for Life.”
  • Excellent classroom practitioner who inspires and encourages children to reach their full potential through high quality learning experiences.
  • Ability to motivate, challenge and support others.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with staff, parents, governors and the local community.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of skills development and pedagogy.
  • Effective use of ICT to deliver high quality teaching and learning.
  • Development of bilingualism (Welsh as a second language).
  • Experience of assessment for learning strategies.
  • Commitment to professional learning.
  • Ability to contribute to extra-curricular activities.
