Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is seeking a Senior Residential Childcare Practitioner to help establish a residential children's home. This role involves providing emotional support and developing strategies to manage challenging behaviour.
As a part of the management team, you will ensure a safe environment that allows children to thrive. A Level 3 Diploma for Children and Young People or equivalent is required. Sleep-in shifts will be necessary as part of the role.
Ability to speak Welsh is desirable, and all appointments are subject to rigorous pre-employment checks.
