Your opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting children's education and development within a school setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist in delivering educational programmes, helping students achieve their full potential by supporting their day-to-day learning activities.

What we're looking for:

  • A good general education including GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C or above).
  • Basic IT skills to support learning and administrative tasks.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clarify instructions and engage students effectively.
  • The ability to plan, prioritise tasks, and follow teacher guidance.
  • A professional and confidential approach to working with children.
  • Strong time management and organisation skills to maintain records and assist in classroom setup.

About Merstham Primary School

Our School sits within an established cluster of schools overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Merstham Primary, our cluster includes the following other schools: Southgate Primary School, Forge Wood Primary School, Kilnwood Vale Primary School, Greenway Junior School, Salfords Primary School, Lime Tree Primary School.
