Are you passionate about the value of Food Technology within the curriculum? We are seeking an inspiring Head of Food Technology looking for a position in a growing forward-thinking secondary school.
Your opportunity: We are looking for a talented and motivated Teacher of Food Technology, who is able to inspire our students to develop a love of learning for this core subject area. Working within our modern, state-of-the-art building, our successful Technology Department is committed to creating a supportive environment where professional development, learning from each other, and sharing good practice is at the heart of the department.
You will work with two fully equipped food rooms, each with twelve kitchens and an adjoining prep room, and an Arts and Technology Technician will support with practical food lessons. Option numbers are high with two GCSE classes in year 10 and 11. You will have plenty of CPD opportunities for professional development and growth. Working as part of the GLF Trust comprising of 43 schools, we can support you with career pathways for progression.
