The Role
As the SHEQ Manager, you will lead our Safety, Health, Environment and Quality function. Taking ownership of the SHEQ strategy, policies and management systems, you will ensure full compliance with UK legislation while maintaining and developing ISO-aligned systems to support accreditation and audit success. Through audits, inspections, investigations and risk assessments, you will ensure safe and effective practices across our manufacturing, warehousing and installation environments.
Additionally, you will:
- Promote a strong safety-first culture across all business functions
- Analyse SHEQ data and present performance reports to leadership
- Provide coaching, training and guidance to managers and employees
- Act as the main point of contact for regulators, customers and accreditation bodies
About You
To be considered as our SHEQ Manager, you will need:
- Proven experience in a SHEQ management role within manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, or a similar industry
- Experience managing ISO 9001 and 14001 systems
- Strong working knowledge of UK SHEQ regulations and best practice
- Confident communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels and drive cultural change
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- A NEBOSH General Certificate (at a minimum) or equivalent
