About the Role

As a Trainee Production Planner, you will support the smooth running of manufacturing operations by helping schedule new jobs and coordinating daily production activities. After initial training you will enter new jobs into the production scheduling system and take part in daily meetings to review workloads and track progress. Working alongside production supervisors and managers, you will help resolve capacity issues and manage resources.

Additionally, You Will

  • Liaise with the technical, procurement and logistics teams
  • Collaborate with the project management team to support efficient production planning

About You

  • Organised and practical approach to work
  • Ability to work to and achieve set targets and deadlines
  • Innovative and forward‑thinking
  • An HNC/HND or degree in a relevant field is desirable but not essential. Work experience in a manufacturing environment would be equally advantageous.
