Main duties of the job
The post-holder is designated to support Senior Nurses in the safe management of patient flow through the Emergency Department.
The post holder will be expected to lead a team of staff at Band 5 and below, providing and maintaining the delivery of quality care to the highest clinical standard.
The post holder should be expert in all areas of emergency nursing.
Due to current service demands, we are only able to consider applicants who have relevant UK experience.

- Provide leadership, management and team development as delegated by the Department/Ward Manager to the team, allocating workloads.
- Contribute to setting goals and benchmarking standards of care. Develop tools to improve the quality of the service and co-ordinate clinical services across the ward.
