An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Regional Plastic Surgery Dressing Clinic at Whiston Hospital.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, with a passion for excellence in patient care, to join our highly-skilled team of nursing and medical staff.
The Mersey Regional Plastics Surgery Unit provides treatment and repair of major lacerations, including re‑attachment of severed body parts, reconstruction surgery for loss of tissue due to cancer, infection or trauma.
The post holder will be responsible for the clinical assessment of wounds and their treatment, and should work autonomously within this largely nurse‑led clinic.
Experience in wound care is essential.
An enhanced DBS with barred lists for both adults and children is required for this post.
Main Duties of the Job

- Liaise with senior medical staff to provide a high quality service to patients and their families.
