About The Role

Hours: 28 Hours per Week (Annualised Hours)

Contract: 12-Month Temporary Contract

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Commercial Training Operations Coordinator to join our Training & Development Academy to deliver high quality training, driving continuous improvement and supporting commercial growth opportunities.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will play a key part in coordinating and supporting commercial training programmes, events and development activities. Working closely with colleagues and external partners, you will help ensure the successful delivery of training solutions that meet organisational objectives while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination and delivery of commercial training programmes and events.
  • Identify and contribute to opportunities that support commercial growth and development.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the availability of resources, equipment and training materials required for successful course delivery.
  • Support the evaluation and continuous improvement of training activities and learning materials by maintaining quality management systems, conduct audits and support service improvement initiatives.
  • Produce reports and training evaluation information to inform decision‑making.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, organisational policies and relevant legislation.
  • Support the development of Equality Impact Assessments and Risk Assessments.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Firefighter status or NVQ Level 3 Operations in the Community
  • Teaching and Assessor Qualification
  • Compartment Fire Behaviour and Vreathing Apparatus Training Instructor qualification
  • Health and Safety qualification
