We are looking for our heroes to become part of a team responding to emergency calls to assist throughout the Liverpool area to clients living in both sheltered housing schemes and their own homes.
About the Role
Some provision of Emergency Personal Care will be expected to assist with daily tasks, from light domestic duties to full personal care. A typical day can include you visiting a number of service users, assisting with meal preparation, medication administration, laundry, light domestic duties, bathing, dressing and continence requirements. Medical experience is not required; however practical experience in the care sector is preferred. More important is that you have a caring and compassionate nature and act with empathy, tact and discretion. We are looking for warm, charismatic and friendly individuals who can support our service users and make a difference to our clients' lives. A caring individual who is passionately committed to assisting service users to improve client care. You’ll be able to drive and have access to a car and previously worked in a domiciliary care setting with care experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reliable, hard-working people with a genuine desire to care.
- Providing care and support to vulnerable adults within their own homes.
- Visiting our service users to assist with tasks, from light domestic duties to full personal care.
- Visiting a number of regular service users within the area.
- Assisting with meal preparation, medication administration, laundry, light domestic duties, bathing, dressing and continence requirements.
- Providing much needed companionship to people within our community.
- Demonstrating communication skills and ability to work in partnership with the service users.
Please note this role is also known as Carer, Care Assistant, Care Worker and Domiciliary Care Assistant.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Hours of work: Full and part time shifts work pattern will entail day shifts between the hours of 7am and 10pm and weekend working.
Pay: £12.90-£13.10 per hour
