An exciting opportunity to lead services for elderly people on Mersea Island
\n
Mersea Island Trust is looking to appoint an experienced and committed General Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Trust’s sheltered housing services.
\n
\n
This is a key leadership role, working closely with Trustees, staff, residents, contractors, partner agencies and the wider community to ensure that the Trust’s services are safe, well managed, compliant and responsive to the needs of older people.
\n
\n
As General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Trust’s sheltered housing schemes and the team delivering services to residents. You will lead and motivate staff, oversee performance, manage risk and compliance, and identify opportunities to improve the Trust’s services and facilities.

About you
\n
We are looking for an experienced housing professional who can combine strong operational management with a genuine commitment to supporting older people.
\n
Applicants should have a minimum of a L4 qualification in housing management or be willing to work towards one.
