We are seeking an experienced Store Supervisor to join our retail team in Derby. You will play a key role in the smooth running of the store, supporting the Store Manager in delivering excellent customer service, achieving sales targets and maintaining operational standards. This is a hands‑on role with a strong focus on team leadership, visual presentation and day‑to‑day store performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Support the Store Manager with daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management and cash handling.
  • Coach and develop team members through regular feedback, training and performance reviews.
  • Monitor sales performance and assist with sales analysis, implementing actions to improve sell‑through and conversion.
  • Ensure the store is merchandised to brand standards and that visual displays are attractive and up to date.
  • Manage rotas to ensure appropriate staffing levels and support absence cover where required.
  • Maintain health & safety, loss prevention and compliance standards at all times.
  • Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues, handling customer feedback and resolving issues professionally.
