The Team: From Buying, Merchandise, Creative, Ecommerce and Marketing, the inclusive nature of SEVENSTORE will allow you to stay in communication with the wider team, while the focal point remains within your department. This will help you to achieve goals, surpass targets and bring leading collections of clothing, footwear and accessories to the retail space.
The Role: We are looking for someone who understands the ethos, product and culture of SEVENSTORE. You will be passionate about fashion, community and collaboration, with an awareness of globally recognised fashion houses, emerging talent and the cultural landscape that influences our customer. Reporting to the Head of Buying you will work on taking full ownership of your stable of brands. You will drive the business footwear brand strategy forward through managing and nurturing existing brand relationships & new brand acquisitions.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting in the development of the Assistant Buyers and Buyers admin’s through continuous coaching and support.
- Taking complete accountability and ownership of their product file.
- Competently and confidently managing brand relationships.
- Researching, initiating and driving new business opportunities.
- Possessing and demonstrating extensive knowledge of the full product file.
- Collating and presenting budget and business performance reviews externally to major brands.
- Leading internal brand decisions with consideration of the value it brings to the business.
- Maintaining strong relationships internally with departments business-wide.
- Sharing Regular Market Knowledge insights with the wider team and presenting an educated viewpoint.
- Proposing market research trips, including travel details and costing.
- Attending market research trips.
- Budget planning along with wider buying & merchandising teams.
SEVENSTORE specific responsibilities:
- Buying across all footwear categories including sports, casual and contemporary.
- Responsible for 35+ brands: Estimated OTB = £2.5M.
- Complete ownership of SEVENSTORE file across all footwear product groups.
- Elevated taste level with a multi brand/division skill set.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ experience as an Assistant Buyer working with a global brand portfolio.
- Analytical skills (excel and Power BI knowledge essential).
- Strong level of market awareness and an understanding of where SEVENSTORE lives within this ecosystem.
- Extensive knowledge of brands and products relevant to SEVENSTORE.
