Ecommerce Assistant - SEVENSTORE

Description
As part of our Ecommerce team, the responsibility of the Ecommerce Assistant will be to assist in driving website performance by helping write accurate and SEO-friendly product descriptions and managing the regular upload of new products/launches.
You will also assist with other on-site copy across category and collection pages to help maximise our organic visibility. Working closely with the wider team, the right candidate will have a natural flair for the creation of engaging and smart copy.

About You
- A genuine passion for SEVENSTORE product and an appreciation of our values and core consumers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write effective copy that is representative of the SEVENSTORE brand
- The ability to multitask, working quickly and effectively whilst maintaining focus
- The ability to produce short and concise copy as well as longer form content
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- High levels of personal motivation, and a preference for taking responsibility and working in a dynamic team environment
- An interest in understanding how copy can contribute to successful trading on the website through SEO
Responsibilities
- Writing accurate, engaging and SEO friendly product descriptions that reflect the SEVENSTORE brand tone and product detail
- Managing the upload of new products, launches and re-stocks, in line with agreed timelines
- Supporting category and collection copy updates to maximise visibility and organic performance
- Completing daily site checks to identify and eradicate issues, including incorrect pricing, imagery, descriptions or broken links
- Supporting Ecom Exec with onsite updates required for trade, promotion and brand & product launches
- Ensuring all product information is consistent and accurate across the website
- Assisting with basic onsite merchandising tasks, including brand and category page VM and collection builds
- Working closely with Creative, Buying and Merchandising teams to support smooth product onboarding
- Assisting with ad-hoc ecommerce tasks and projects as required
