An exciting opportunity to join our team. Two positions available. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our busy nursery in Hereford. Children's learning and development is paramount to us and we believe the early years are so very important to ensure children gain a passion for learning. Our unique Reggio Approach values the voice of the child and encourages learning and development through creativity within natural, stimulating environments.
Applicants must have the following:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or above) Childcare, Learning and Development or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children aged 6 months to 5 years.
- Valid paediatric first aid certificate preferred but training can be provided.
- Safeguarding children certificate preferred but training can be provided.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Knowledge of the Reggio Approach to Learning.
- Understanding of Tapestry online learning journals.
- Basic ICT knowledge.
Part Time/ Job Share Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 12:30 and/or 11:30 to 16:30. Full Time Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30, All Year. Days and hours open to negotiation.
We provide in-house training and continued professional development with free training for all employees. We run as a close-knit team with guaranteed job security.
