A leading global specialty chemicals and ingredients distributor is seeking an experienced commercial professional to join its pharmaceutical business in Ireland. This hybrid role combines international product management with regional sales responsibility, supporting growth across pharmaceutical and contract manufacturing markets.
Reporting to senior leadership, the successful candidate will manage a long-standing strategic supplier relationship while driving sales of specialty materials & solvents, intermediates, and process chemicals. Responsibilities include developing commercial strategies, identifying new business opportunities, managing customer and supplier relationships, forecasting sales, analysing performance data, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
Close collaboration with international commercial and operational teams, ensuring alignment on business objectives, pricing strategies, supply chain activities, and market development plans. Serve as the primary Principal contact for all commercial, technical, operational and developmental requirements.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Business, or a related discipline. Proven success in sales, product management, or business development within the chemical, pharmaceutical, agrochemical or related sectors. Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, stakeholder management experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrix organisation are essential.
Renumeration & Career Progression: The position is based in Ireland, offering flexible working arrangements, regular domestic travel, occasional European travel, and a competitive salary and benefits package. Excellent opportunities for career progression within a global organisation.
