Merrifield Consultants is delighted to partner with a brilliant Health charity, in the search for a Trusts and Foundations Officer. Reporting to the Trusts and Foundations Manager, you’ll help drive growth across both the Trust and Major Donor pipelines by supporting high-quality applications, cultivating relationships, and securing new and multi-year gifts. You’ll work collaboratively across teams to strengthen application and reporting processes, while assisting colleagues with their portfolios to boost overall income. Highly organised and an engaging communicator, you’ll bring strong transferable skills, curiosity and ambition to help elevate these key income streams in a supportive, development-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- With support from the Philanthropy Manager, take ownership of a portfolio of grant-makers, contributing towards a shared annual income target.
- This will involve planning, researching and submitting high quality, compelling funding applications to trusts and foundations.
- Your portfolio will consist primarily of small-medium grant makers, with opportunity to account manage larger funders.
- Develop lasting and positive working relationships with and take ownership of a portfolio of major funders.
