Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be supporting a hospice providing care for babies and children in Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties in their search to find a Supporter Care Executive; someone to be the first port of call for all incoming supporter enquiries, managing thanking and stewardship, and leading the fulfilment of campaigns and events. Organisation: Helen and Douglas House Position: Supporter Care Executive Reporting to: Head of Fundraising Salary: £24,355.50-£31,433 per year depending on experience Location: Hybrid – 3 days a week in Oxford Required: CV Closing date: Please apply at your earliest convenience as the charity would like someone to start with immediate effect. Helen and Douglas House is a homely place for local children, living with life-limiting and terminal conditions, and their families. They provide care in a warm, loving environment and the hospice is filled with laughter, whilst also being peaceful place where families can create happy memories in their last days, weeks, months or years together. The hospice are at a very exciting moment in their history, with a new three-year strategy in development which will provide the organisation with a strong outward-facing ambition and the opportunity to engage more supporters in its' plans. As part of the wider Income Generation Directorate, the Supporter Care Executive plays a key role in these plans by providing professional and effective administrative and stewardship support to the Fundraising teams to maximise income generation. Essential experience: 1 years' experience in a supporter/client facing role delivering an exceptional customer service or supporter care experience. Ability to draft written documents including supporter letters and emails. Ability to build and develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work within a team and be comfortable taking the initiative and working Excellent attention to detail with strong numeracy skills. IT literate, including Microsoft Office. Not on ISA Barred list from working with children/adults.The post will be based at the hospice in Oxford for at least 3 days a week, but there is free parking on-site. The charity is looking for someone to start with immediate effect or as soon as possible.
