Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic Children’s Charity to help find a Corporate and Community Fundraising Officer. We’re looking for professional fundraisers with demonstrable experience in corporate partnerships or community fundraising.

Basic Details:

  • Organisation: Children’s Charity
  • Location: London, Hybrid (2 days a week in the office)
  • Contract: Full-time, Permanent
  • Salary: £30,000 to £32,000
  • Closing date: Wednesday 30th April

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing fundraising initiatives to secure financial support from our current and new corporate partners and community groups.
  • Build strong relationships with businesses, local organisations, and supporters to maximise income and engagement.
  • Proactively identify and secure new corporate partners through research, outreach, and compelling proposals developed with the support of your line manager.
  • Plan and execute unforgettable fundraising events—think fun runs, community dinners, online campaigns, and more.
  • Manage existing partnerships to maximise value, ensuring long-term support and mutual benefit.

Essentials:

  • 2 years minimum, proven experience in fundraising.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of fundraising regulations and best practices.
  • Target driven, and ambitious.
  • Have access to public transport for easy access to communities and corporates within the London area.
