Merrifield Consultants is delighted to partner with a brilliant social welfare charity in the search for a New Partnerships Manager. Ideal for an experienced, creative corporate fundraiser with a strong track record in securing and managing five- and six-figure corporate partnerships. You will lead the development of the charity’s corporate income by identifying, securing, onboarding, and developing corporate partners, proactively sourcing new prospects and delivering compelling cases for support, proposals, and pitches aligned with the charity’s mission.
Organisation: Social Welfare
Salary: £37,500 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Location: London
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 1/2 days in the office per week

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and management of a robust corporate partnerships pipeline, securing new partners through proactive relationship-building and high-quality written proposals.
- Lead negotiations and manage senior stakeholder relationships to secure strategically aligned corporate partnerships.
- Identify and engage local and regional corporate partners to support organisational growth across England and Wales.
- Expand and enhance our corporate engagement offer, including event sponsorship, payroll giving, gifts in kind, volunteering, and other relevant non-financial support.
- Contribute to and implement a three-year corporate fundraising strategy, with the ambition to raise £1 million annually.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Two years’ experience working in a corporate fundraising environment.
- Proven track record of winning and/or managing 5 figure partnerships.
- Experience devising, planning and implementing fundraising strategies.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage external stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent written and communication skills with a good ability to write compelling and informative copy for reports, applications and external communications that are tailored to audience need.
