Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering with a much-loved children's hospice charity based in Hampton, who are seeking an experienced Individual Giving Fundraiser to join their fundraising team on a temporary basis.
The Role
This is a varied and deeply meaningful role, supporting the delivery of the charity's individual giving programme across its legacy and in memory income streams. The right candidate will be able to hit the ground running, bringing both technical fundraising knowledge and a genuinely sensitive approach to supporter and family relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the delivery of legacy and in memory fundraising programmes
- Legacy administration including communication with solicitors and personal executors
- Relationship management with supported families who wish to fundraise
- Donor stewardship and contribution to integrated supporter journey development
- Maximising gift aid opportunities across individual giving activity
- Accurate data capture and recording on Raiser’s Edge NXT
- Contributing to campaign tracking, reporting and evaluation
What You Need
- Demonstrable experience in individual giving, legacy or in memory fundraising
- A sensitive and considered approach to supporter and family relationships
- Strong data management skills and experience of CRM databases
- The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload with minimal supervision
