Paralegal – Family Law (Full or Part Time)

Location: Manchester City Centre | Hybrid working available

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented paralegal to support our solicitors and contribute to the delivery of exceptional legal services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support solicitors with case management, legal research and document drafting.
  • Prepare court forms and assist with hearings (e.g., Form E, C100, D8).
  • Maintain accurate client files and manage deadlines.
  • Deliver excellent client care and communication.
  • Assist with preparing invoices and meeting billing targets.
  • Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Legal qualifications (e.g., Law degree (LLB), NALP Level 3/4, legal secretary diploma or paralegal apprenticeship) are advantageous but not essential.
  • Proven experience as a paralegal in family law.
  • Strong legal research, drafting and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and prioritise effectively.
  • Commitment to professional standards and client service.
