A Nvidia Developer using NVIDIA Blackwell B300 GPUs (x900) in an HGX platform on large language models (LLMs) revolutionizing the financial trading landscape by enabling sophisticated analysis of vast amounts of unstructured data to generate actionable trading insights. MERQUAN has built a financial system in the capital markets arena, designed to unify live market data, algorithms, institutional-grade reasoning, execution workflows, global (290+) exchange connectivity, and advanced interfaces into one environment.
The platform is being built for retail, semi-professional, professional, and institutional seats who currently rely on fragmented tools, disconnected dashboards, expensive terminals, isolated signals, and manual interpretation across multiple markets. MERQUAN is founder-led, technically advanced, and entering a critical commercial phase. The company requires a CEO who can translate a deep technology platform into institutional credibility, investor confidence, commercial partnerships, and disciplined execution.
The Role
We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead MERQUAN through its next stage of growth: capital formation, commercial positioning, strategic partnerships, senior hiring, and market entry. This is not a ceremonial CEO role. It is a high-trust executive seat for someone who can operate between capital markets, technology, investors, exchanges, data partners, regulators, and product teams.
The successful candidate must be able to simplify complex infrastructure into a clear commercial story, build confidence with sophisticated investors, and help turn MERQUAN from a powerful technical platform into a globally credible financial technology company.
Responsibilities:
- Lead MERQUAN's commercial strategy, investor narrative, and capital-raising investor relationships
- Position MERQUAN clearly to investors, strategic partners, institutions, and senior hires
- Build the executive operating rhythm across product, technology, compliance, partnerships, and revenue
- Pressure-test the go-to-market strategy across trader, professional, and institutional segments
- Help structure strategic relationships with data providers, exchanges, brokers, funds, and infrastructure partners
- Recruit and manage senior leadership as the company scales
- Develop board-level reporting, governance discipline, and investor-grade communication
- Work closely with the founders to preserve the technical vision while sharpening commercial execution
- Represent MERQUAN externally with credibility, discretion, and authority
What We're Looking For:
- Courage, integrity, passionate and sheer determination. Ability to lead a group of PhD's, Scientists who often operate on another plain
- Current or former CEO, COO, CRO, Managing Director, Partner, or senior executive in capital markets, fintech, trading technology, market data, brokerage, SaaS, or financial infrastructure
- Strong understanding of capital markets workflows, financial markets, institutional software, or investment technology
- Proven ability to raise capital through various rounds, support fundraising, or lead investor-facing strategy
- Experience taking complex products to market in a credible, commercially disciplined way
- Comfort working with founder-led deep technology and fast-moving technical teams
- Ability to challenge assumptions with candour while protecting the company's long-term vision
- Strong network across finance, fintech, venture capital, family offices, funds, exchanges, brokers, or institutional technology buyers
- Exceptional communication skills: able to explain MERQUAN simply without weakening the depth of the platform
- High discretion, high judgement, and strong personal credibility
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate has operated at the intersection of capital markets, technology, and growth. They understand that MERQUAN is not trying to become another generic terminal, signal product, or dashboard. It is building a new operating layer. They should be commercially sharp, investor-safe, technically curious, and capable of turning a complex platform into a category-defining company.
Compensation:
Executive compensation to be structured around stage, commitment, and candidate profile. The role may include a combination of salary (post seed round), performance incentives, and meaningful equity participation. For an exceptional candidate, MERQUAN is open to structuring the appointment as CEO, Executive Chair-to-CEO pathway, or CEO / Commercial Co-Founder style engagement. Final structure to be agreed confidentially after founder-level discussions.
