The Role
We are looking for a Demand Planner & Forecasting Analyst to take ownership of the accuracy, quality and integrity of our demand forecasts.
In this role, you will be the critical link between commercial insights and operational execution - ensuring our forecasts are data-driven, realistic and reliable before they translate into purchasing and inventory decisions.
You will build, improve and standardise our forecasting processes across channels, analyse demand patterns, challenge assumptions and create the foundation for smarter, more scalable demand planning.

What you’ll be doing
Forecasting & Demand Accuracy
- Own and improve the demand forecast input process, ensuring accuracy, consistency and data integrity
- Analyse historical sales performance, run rates and trends to create evidence-based forecasts
- Review and challenge channel forecasts, identifying risks, opportunities and unrealistic assumptions
- Build SKU-level forecasts, ensuring the right product mix and inventory allocation
- Incorporate channel contribution and margin impact into forecasting decisions
- Improve forecasting for both sellable and non-sellable products (packaging, accessories and marketing materials)
Channel & Business Analysis
- Create top-down and bottom-up demand forecasts together with Sales and Operations teams
- Analyse seasonality, trends, promotions, product launches and channel performance
- Build forecasting models that incorporate core range, new product development and channel-specific inputs
- Act as the quality gate between commercial forecasts and inventory decisions
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) with accurate insights and recommendations
Process Improvement & Innovation
- Establish a structured forecasting methodology and create clear processes and SOPs
- Develop forecasting models that can scale with Meroda’s international growth
- Identify opportunities to leverage forecasting tools, automation and AI solutions
- Become the single source of truth for forecast accuracy across the organisation
- Partner with Marketing, Product Development, Sales and Operations to understand future demand drivers

- Improved forecast accuracy across all channels
- Reduced gaps between forecast and actual sales performance
- Lower risk of out-of-stock situations and excess inventory
- Better inventory allocation and improved margin contribution
- A scalable forecasting process that supports international growth
What we’re looking for
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain analytics or a similar role
- Advanced Excel skills and strong modelling capabilities
- Ability to analyse complex data and translate insights into business decisions
- Comfortable challenging assumptions and collaborating across teams
- Experience with forecasting tools and an interest in AI-driven solutions
- A structured, proactive mindset with the ability to build processes from the ground up
